Email Body Content Stripped by Outlook

Our monitoring of the matter suggests that the issue is as expected resolved by installing the latest version of ZCO.
Shortly before the Christmas break we made an updated version of the Zimbra Outlook Connector (ZCO) available. You/your users should have seen prompts to update to this new version. It is our hope that the latest version will resolve the issue caused by Microsoft’s update.
We will continue to monitor the situation until we are confident that we have seen widespread resolutions for our users .
We are restarting the Zimbra service to apply some urgent fixtures to mitigate this issue.
Users will experience a short service disruption (less than one minute).
Apologies for any inconvenient this might cause.
Zimbra have released an updated ZCO which they believe provides a workaround to the blank email sending problem.
Outlook should prompt the user to update as normal when a new version of ZCO is released. Otherwise the installer can be downloaded from the Zimbra website:

Zimbra Engineering have made the following public statement
“After recent Microsoft updates (Version 2310, 2311), customers reported an intermittent issue that when sending a message from ZCO, it is delivered as a blank message to the recipient. The issue is not consistently reproducible and there are no definite steps to reproduce it. There have been no changes in the ZCO product that caused the issue, as we found this issue is not seen on Outlook versions not having the latest Microsoft patch.
Our engineering team has also submitted a post on Microsoft forums asking for their immediate attention. We are also analyzing the issue and trying to find a root cause and feasible solution for the ZCO product. We will provide an update as soon as we have an ETA on the fix.
For the customers facing the issue, the workaround is to downgrade their Outlook to the previous version.”

We will continue to update this incident as and when information is available to us from either parties.
Please ask any users affected by this problem to update Outlook. We’ve heard this has resolved the problem for some users.
We are aware of an issue affecting email sent using Microsoft Outlook. We are in communication with Zimbra and it is believed that a recent update by Microsoft is the root of the issue. While we wait for a patch from Microsoft remedying this issue we are looking into any possible work-around.
In the meantime, please be note that this does not affect Zimbra Webmail or any other mail client so mail can continue to be sent.
